TOYOTA URBAN CRUISER: MOTORIGNITION TAKES A LOOK INTO SPECS, BEST CAR IN INDIA?

 Last year there were certain agreements done between Toyota and Suzuki and then we saw the new Toyota Glanza and now Toyota Urban Cruiser a Vitara Brezza's double role. Also, Maruti Vitara Brezza got a facelift with a BS6 engine producing 104.7 Ps of power. (We are not comparing both the cars here)

DESIGN:-  

There is no need to give an explanation about the design as this design is familiar to us from the year 2015 or 2016, when Brezza got launched, so except for certain finishing and a few changes to the grille and positioning of fog lamps, and different badges, there is no major difference in terms of design when we compare it with the Brezza.

ENGINE:-

This is powered by a 1.5 liter (1462cc) 4-cylinders petrol engine producing 104.7 Ps of power with 138 Nm of torque, available with 4-speed automatic and 5-speed manual transmissions. The company claimed mileage is about 18.63 km/l and 17.03 for AT and MT respectively, you expect it to be somewhere between 14-15 km/l for AT and 2-14 for MT.

OTHER:- 

Just like other cars nowadays, this one also gets minor features like key-less entry, rain-sensing wipers, touchscreen infotainment, airbags and many more.

Summing it up, this is just a Maruti Vitara Brezza from a Toyota company.

Prices:- Vitara Brezza starts at Rs 7.34 lakh ex-showroom whereas Urban Cruiser starts at Rs 8.41 lakh ex-showroom.
